How to make Perfect Blackberry and Port Jelly
Blackberry jelly is delicious, no argument. However, blackberry with a twist of port, is a deeper, more earthy experience and well worth trying to make at home. Jim Clarken, the Guy With The Hand, takes you on that journey and reminds everybody that this delicacy will not make you drunk by tasting, as all the alcohol boils off in the making of the jelly. How To Make Jalapeno Pepper Jelly - It's Easy And Delicious
How To Make Jalapeno Pepper Jelly - It's Easy And Delicious! This is by request from my Baby Back Ribs with Jalapeno Jelly Glaze video. Thank you to all that requested this. Jalapeno jelly is really easy to make and a great way to use up jalapenos from the garden. I used a water bath canning method, but if you just make a small batch you can place it in the fridge for months. And you can make this jalapeno jelly to the heat level of your choice by using the amount of jalapenos that you desire. I hope you make it, it goes great on just about anything! Add it to cream cheese for an amazing dip! Top your pork chops, or ribs like I did. Or just eat it on toast, the options are unlimited.

Ingredients:
6+ jalapenos depending how hot you want it
1 16oz bag of Sweet Mini Peppers (you can use bell peppers)
1 Box Sure Jell but buy 2 just in case
5 cups white sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions:
1) I remove seeds and membranes from the jalapenos and sweet mini peppers and rough chop, then mince in a food processor. I find a mince is better than a small dice and a lot easier.
2) Add minced peppers to a pan and 1 cup apple cider vinegar and bring to a hard boil.
3)Once you have a hard boil, add your Sure Jell packet and boil for 1 minute just as the directions in the Sure Jell box says.
4) Add in 5 cups of sugar and stir constantly as to not let the sugar burn.
Bring to a boil and let boil for about a minute and check with a frozen spoon to see if it starts to firm up.
5) Turn off flame and ladle the jelly into sanitized warm jars.
6) Wipe the lids with a paper towel and white vinegar to get any jelly off the rim of the jar and place the lids on and tighten.
7) Place jelly jars into your water bath and boil for the amount of time according to your elevation. Google it!
8) Let cool to room temperature and place in fridge overnight.
Enjoy!
If your jelly didn't firm up, and you didn't fix it, it can be fixed or you can just use it as a glaze or sauce, it will still taste amazing!

The Only Real Solution To Fix Runny Jam Or Jelly (Using ONE Simple Ingredient!)
Runny jam is the worst! But no longer is it necessary to sit idly by with disappointment!
Here is the product that I use in the video:
For a vegan source:
Hello everyone and welcome to this video! Today I'm doing a bit of a public service announcement here. You see I see all of these posts on canning groups and places like that where people have made Jam or jelly and they spent all this time and money and for whatever reason it turns out runny. Then invariably the story involves tears and crying. When they bring this to the group everyone of course says well we call that syrup. You just made syrup, or you just made ice cream topping. And I applaud these efforts to make people feel better and make use of things that didn't quite turn out. But to me that's kind of like saying I'm sorry your team didn't win the Superbowl , but hey at least they were the conference champions! Now does that really make you feel better? No it does not and that's because nobody cares about conference champions and if somebody really wanted to make ice cream topping they would just make ice cream topping. But really this whole situation is unnecessary. Never again will you have to cry over runny Jam or jelly that you spent hours making and I'll tell you why. While it's true that after you've can something that's it it's done and there's no way to easily un can it, fix it and recan it, you're looking at a whole lot of extra time and wasted materials. But let's not forget that once you open the jar there are things you can do. The Ball canning book says that if your salsa is too runny you can add cornstarch to it, again only after you've canned it. Well we're not going to fix our running jelly with cornstarch, although maybe you can I don't know I guess I've never tried. Instead we're going to go back to our Childhood Days and revisit something you probably ate in elementary school...
